Full Caseload Therapist is an independent site for clinicians who run their own practice and want a fuller calendar without signing a twelve-month contract to find out whether it works.

Who writes it

Steve Meitler is the editor. He has spent years running growth campaigns for local service businesses, therapy practices among them, and has watched good clinicians pay for marketing built for plumbers and pushed onto them unchanged. The buying decision here is slower, the trust bar is higher, the ethics code rules out half the standard playbook, and the person calling is often calling on the worst week of their year.

Where the benchmark numbers come from

The benchmark report is built from public Google Business Profile listings. We search Google Maps for therapists, counselors, psychologists, mental health clinics and related practices in every US state, keep the public fields on each listing (review count, star rating, whether a website is linked, hours, category, location), remove duplicates by Google place, and compute the statistics. Nothing behind a login is touched and no client or reviewer information is stored. The set currently holds 171,610 listings across 51 states and is refreshed monthly.

Two caveats. The category field is self-selected, so the set includes adjacent practitioners such as massage and physical therapists alongside mental health clinicians. And at this scale collection errors happen, so read every figure as accurate to within a point or two, not to the decimal.

Editorial rules

  • No pay-to-play. No directory, software company or platform can buy a mention or a link here.
  • Every number is sourced, either to our own dataset or to a primary source such as Google's documentation or a published ethics code. Opinions are labeled as opinions.
  • Nothing here will tell you to solicit a testimonial from a current client, gate reviews, or post anything that identifies a person in your care. Where a tactic sits near a board rule, the guide says so.
  • This is not legal, clinical or compliance advice. Your license, your board, your call.
  • Guides are updated when the platforms change, and every update is dated.

How the free trial works

The site is funded by the marketing work we do for practices. Every service is offered as a free 14-day trial because a clinician should watch the phone ring before paying anyone. You text or call, say what you want to try (Google Ads, Meta ads, AI search optimization, local SEO and Google profile work, a website, social media, review and reputation work, missed-call text-back, email and SMS, bookkeeping, or appointment setting), and it gets set up inside your own accounts, usually within 48 hours. It runs 14 days, with no card on file and nothing that renews. At the end you keep it at a price quoted before the trial began, switch, or stop.

Text or call (385) 832-6175, or use the free trial page. The FAQ covers most of the questions that come first.

Try any marketing service free for 14 days.

Pick anything we do. We run it for your therapy practice for two full weeks at no cost, then you decide. No card, no contract, nothing to cancel.
